A big day from Elliott Ebert helped the visiting Reedsville baseball team top Valders 9-3 in an Olympian Conference game on Friday afternoon.
The junior finished the game 3-for-4 at the plate with four RBIs.
The Panthers jumped out to a 7-0 lead after 5 ½ innings and never looked back.
Brandon Thelen was 2-for-4 and scored three runs, while teammate Cody Schamburek went 3-for-5 with a pair of RBIs.
Schamburek also recorded the win, working six innings and allowing one earned run on six hits. He struck out two and walked two.
The Vikings’ Trenton Sundsmo recorded two hits was hit by a pitch in four trips. He also drove in a run.
Ryan Valleskey took the loss for Valders. He pitched five innings, allowing five earned runs. He struck out two and walked two.

The Ships overcame a 5-1 deficit at Fox Cities Stadium for a non-conference contest against the Red Devils.
Trailing 5-4 with two outs in the bottom of the seventh, Lincoln’s Brett Bertsche hit an RBI single to tie the game before teammate Brock Meyer scored the winning run on a wild pitch.
Brennan Mrotek went 2-for-3 to lead the Ships offense while teammate Ben Kohls (1-for-2) had an RBI and Carl Samz hit a double in the fifth to spark a three-run inning.
Earning the win for Lincoln in relief was Brent Landon, who pitched two shutout innings while striking out three and allowed one hit.
