Prep Cross Country: Plymouth honored by WCCCA

The Plymouth girls cross country team has earned academic all-state honors from the Wisconsin Cross Country Coaches Association for the 2013 season it was announced this week.

Wisconsin prep cross country teams are awarded academic all-state honors by qualifying for the WIAA state meet and having a team average cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher.

Plymouth had a 3.9 average GPA in earning its fourth straight academic all-state award as it finished ninth at State.

Members of the Panthers squad included Sophie Bolich, Olivia Jankowski, Karly Knaus, Brooke Koehn, Julia Novotny, Abby Payne and Anna Travis.

Additionally, Plymouth’s Thomas Jankowski earned an individual academic all-state award by qualifying for the state meet and having a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
