ALEXANDRIA – Junior Haley Hjort led the way with a goal and an assist to carry the St. Cloud Icebreakers to a 3-0 Central Lakes Conference victory over Alexandria Monday night.

Senior Emily Thiessen and junior Samantha Eisenreich scored the other two goals for St. Cloud (10-1 CLC, 18-4-1 overall).

Junior goalie Allie Rosenkrans stopped 22 shots and record a shutout for the Icebreakers.

ST. FRANCIS 4, BRAINERD/LITTLE FALLS 1

ST. FRANCIS – Sophomore Maddie Ellingson scored Brainerd/Little Falls’ lone goal as they fell in nonconference action.

Eight-grader Sophia Zebro led St. Francis with two goals. Senior goalie Sara Wennerstrand had 41 saves for the Flying Warriors.

River Lakes 4, Fergus Falls 3 (OT)

PAYNESVILLE – Allie Stanger scored with 22 seconds left in overtime to lift River Lakes over Fergus Falls in Central Lakes Conference play.

Stander finished with two goals and two assists. River Lakes’ Shelby Teal sent the game to overtime with the game-tying goal with 6:06 remaining in the third period.

Shana Clark made 38 saves for the Stars.

St. Cloud Apollo 2, Alexandria 1

ALEXANDRIA – Paul Kenney scored both St. Cloud Apollo goals in a Central Lakes Conference win.

Alexandria took a 1-0 lead into the second period, but Kenney tied the game 1:17 into the second period.

He scored the game-winning goal with 7:11 left in the third period. Nick Althaus made 24 saves for Apollo.

Sartell 6, St. Cloud Tech 3

SARTELL – Sartell took down St. Cloud Tech in Central Lakes Conference play at Bernick’s Arena.

Princeton 3, M/A/ML 2 (OT)

PRINCETON – The Tigers used a Billy Oakes goal to take down Monticello/Annandale/Maple Lake in a nonconference game.

Fergus Falls 6, River Lakes 2

FERGUS FALLS – River Lakes couldn’t recover after getting down 3-0 in the first period.

The Stars got goals from Blake Karsh and Eric Zimmer.

SAUK RAPIDS 10, PINE CITY 1

PINE CITY – Sophomore Brandon Mixell led Sauk Rapids to a nonconference victory, scoring three goals for the Storm.

Senior Matt Meyer added two goals for Sauk Rapids.

Junior T.J. Gross scored the only goal for Pine City. Senior Will Mortenson (three saves) and freshman Lucas Marlin (six saves) held Pine City to one goal.
