The Manitowoc United hockey team fell to Green Bay United at home on Senior Night on Friday 13-2.

Manitowoc was the first to score with an unassisted goal by Martin Petersen but Green Bay responded to take a 3-1 lead into the second period. The hosts final goal was scored in the second by Jeff Khail, assisted by Brad Schneider and Martin Petersen.

Evan Brandt and Ian Herzog shared time in net with Brandt facing 43 shots and allowing 12 goals. Herzog faced four shots and saved three.

Tuesday Sheboygan 11, Manitowoc 0

Manitowoc was shutout against Sheboygan with Brandt and Herzog splitting time in net.

Brandt faced 22 shots, allowing six goals, while Herzog faced 23 shots and allowed five.

Jan. 18 Oshkosh 13, Manitowoc 2

United’s first goal was scored in the second period, unassisted, by Brandon Fierst.

Manitowoc then scored again in the third with a pass from Jacob Lembke to Khail, for the score. Herzog and Brandt once again split time in net. Herzog faced 64 shots, allowing 10 goals while Brandt faced 11 and allowed three.
