Brandon Austin scored 14 points in G.W. Carver’s 49-42 win over Champaign Central (Ill.) at the Tournament of Champions on Wednesday.

The Wolverines (2-0) will face O’Fallon (Ill.) at 4 p.m. today.

Darian Adams added 10 points for Carver, while Joseph Strugg had eight points and 10 rebounds. Carlton Williams grabbed 10 rebounds. Lyndell Wilson scored all eight of his points in the fourth quarter.

Calhoun 55, Prattville Christian 45

JaMarcus Davison had 24 points and Ja’Keem Davison added 14 for the Tigers. JC Emerson’s 20 points, 17 rebounds and 11 blocks paced the Panthers (4-2), who host Alabama Christian Tuesday.

Georgiana 72, Goshen 60

Richard Boggan posted 22 points and 16 rebounds to help the Panthers (3-0) win their tournament. Jacquez Payton added 19 points, Nizaiah Smith 12 and Devin McMeans 10. Zach Alford scored 19, Qua Simmons 18 and Azontae Rodgers 11 for the Eagles (1-1). Georgiana will host Opp on Tuesday.

Lakeside 52, Emmanuel 40

Junior McLendon had 27 points and Reid Potthoff 11 for the Chiefs on Tuesday in the Abbeville Christian tournament finals.


Prattville 75, Autaugaville 64

Teeshunda Morgan had 17 points for the Lions (6-0), who trailed by nine with 5:18 to play, in the Prattville Christian tournament finals. Jordan Stewart and Tynesha Adams added 14 each. Kierra Davis led the Eagles with 23 points. Porschez Jackson and Keshay Steele had 12 each.

Calhoun 37, Prattville Christian 34

Amber Harris had 13 points and Keshai Kingka 10 for Calhoun. Emily Stephenson and Nicole Hoots scored seven each for PCA (3-3), which will host Alabama Christian on Tuesday.

Jeff Davis 41, Hillcrest-Evergreen 16

Ahyiona Vason had 10 points for the Vols (8-2), who will host Charles Henderson on Tuesday.

Brewbaker Tech 40, Montgomery Academy 27

Charlisa Wellington had 14 points for the Rams, who will travel to MA for a rematch Dec. 5.

Georgiana 39, Southside-Selma 26

Tyanna Perkins scored 16 points and Miya Riley 15 to help Georgiana (3-0) win its tournament. Calvondrea Blackmon had 15 points for Southside. Georgiana will host Opp on Tuesday.
