Quick Q&A
Who inspires you most? “Abby Wambach. She is such an inspiration for girls around the world.”
What is your dream vacation destination? “Somewhere warm and with a beach.”
Who’s the toughest opponent you have ever faced? “Me. I’m always so hard on myself. I tend to not look at the positive things I did in a game, I always look at the negatives.”
What’s your No. 1 pet peeve? “When people put their papers in their books or when papers are hanging out of folders.”
Why are sports important to you? “I love being active. I am constantly moving throughout the day, I can’t stay still so sports are a good way to get rid of some of my energy. Also, sports relieve a lot of stress. When I’m out on the field with my team, I am 100 percent in the game.”
Which Facebook friend has the most interesting status updates and best photos? “My older sister.”
What’s your strength as a person? ” I’m happy a lot and I’m pretty easy to get along with.”
What do you still need to work on? “In soccer, I need to be more confident. I don’t think I can do a lot of things and I need to work on that…I also need to work on shooting. I get excited when I see an opening and just shoot the ball without really thinking. I just need to slow down and take my time.”
Do you have any pre-game rituals? “Not really. I just stay focused during warm-ups and prepare myself for the game.”
