Tyler’s thoughts

“As a team we’ve worked hard every day, day in and day out. It’s so intense in practice, we bring it everyday. We’re always told not to take a play off. I think I’ve done what I’ve had to do individually for the most part. I’m just there to make my team better.”

Coach Joe Rux’s thoughts

“Tyler’s been a guy who, obviously, defensively he makes it real tough on opposing point guards to get the ball up floor much less into set plays. That’s the part that probably impresses people the most. He’s also that consummate point guard. He’s one of those kids who can get us into our offensive effectively and he communicates really well with the bench which makes him real easy to coach. He’s meant a lot to us, he’s been up with us these last three years and when you can have a point guard that long it allows you to be able to build a lot of concepts and gives you a leader on the floor. He’s done all those things well.”
