Eddie Thomas had a career game for the Fighting Clan, posting 33 points on 13-of-23 shooting. Thomas, who buried five 3-pointers, also hauled in eight rebounds. Guards Steven Tobolski and Taylor Clarke posted seven and six points, respectively, in Vineland’s win.
Boys’ swimming St. Augustine 109, Vineland 61
The Hermits locked up the Cape-Atlantic League American Conference championship with the victory. Colin McHugh won twice for the Prep, and freshman Zach Washart won the 400-meter freestyle in the area’s fastest time this season (4:17.29).
For Vineland, Eddie Parks and Mark Novatorskiy each earned two first-place finishes. Novatorskiy’s times in the 200 and 100 freestyles were season bests.
Wrestling Millville 69, Atlantic City 4
The Bolts rode seven pins, including three in a row from Keith Mahoney (152 pounds), Sean Platt (160) and Jose Soto (170), to a convincing victory over Atlantic City on Wednesday. Millville dropped just one bout in the match.
