EAU CLAIRE – Trevor Anderson had six of the Panthers’ 14 3-pointers and finished with 28 points as the Stevens Point Area Senior High boys basketball team rolled to an 81-39 non-conference win over Eau Claire North Friday.

STEVENS POINT – Isaac Kollock scored his first varsity goal to lead the Cardinals to a victory.
Teagan Vezina scored a hat trick for Pacelli and Trent Kollock recorded the shutout in the net.
“We had a lot of opportunities and probably should have scored a few more goals,” Pacelli caoch Rusty Mitch said. “We played four lines the entire time and that will help us to continue to develop our team and make us prepared for the playoffs.”

DE PERE – The fifth-ranked Pointers scored three second-period goals, including a pair from Allie Tanzer, to earn a nonconference victory over the Green Knights at the Resch Olympic Pavilion.
Trailing 1-0 after one period, Tanzer connected on back-to-back goals midway through the second period to give UWSP the lead for good. Janel Winters then found the back of the net with 48 seconds remaining in the period for her first goal of the season to cap the Pointers scoring.
Goalie Janna Beilke-Skoug finished with 26 saves to help the Pointers record their sixth straight victory.
UWSP (12-1-1) and the Green Knights (5-5-1) close out their home-and-home series with a 2:30 p.m. face-off today at Ice Hawks Arena.
