WAUSAU – Dayna Schultz placed third in the 55-meter dash to lead Wisconsin Rapids to a ninth-place finish with 27 points Thursday at the Warrior invite.

Schultz clocked in at 7.74 seconds.

Elizabeth Keena placed fourth (29.65) and Grace Hartman fifth (29.86) in the 200 dash for the Raiders.

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Brady Borrell combined with three other pitchers on a six-hit shut out in the Wisconsin Valley Conference and season-opener for both schools.

Austin Solomon, Sean Luedtke and Alex Kell also pitched for the Everest. Mike Plaza went 3 for 4 to lead the Evergreens.

Derek Krzykowski went 2 for 3 for the Raiders.
