The Mishicot softball team swept host St. Mary Central in a doubleheader by scores of 9-7 and 13-1.
Mishicot needed eight innings to upend St. Mary Central in Game 1.
Trailing 7-1 in the seventh inning, the Indians proceeded to hang up six runs and force extras. Tayler Krause, Kelly Junk, and Alyssa Ahumada each had 2-RBI singles in the inning.
A pair of runs in the eighth secured the victory for Mishicot.
Lindsay Bries picked up the win, striking out six and walking one.
The Indians’ offense exploded for 12 runs in the third inning of Game 2, en route to a 13-1 win in five innings.
Krause and Kendra Krejcarek each went 2-for-3 for Mishicot in the game.
Chilton 8, Reedsville 0
The visiting Reedsville softball team fell to Chilton 8-0 in an Olympian Conference game on Thursday night.
Riley Grimm and Kimmy Gunns each had a hit for the Panthers.
Chloe Sebo took the loss, pitching six innings and allowing two earned runs on 11 hits, striking out three and walking three.
Brillion 13, Man. Lutheran 12 (8)
The visiting Lancers fell to the Lions, in extra innings 13-12.
Lutheran held a 12-11 lead after six innings, but Brillion tied the game with a run in the seventh and won it with one more run in the eighth.
Kaitlin Radue went 2-for-3 with an RBI and Emily Unke was 2-for-4 with two RBIs.
MacKayla Menges was the losing pitcher. She went 7 and 1⁄3 innings and struck out six and walked four.
The second game of the would-be doubleheader was suspended due to rain.
