With the game tied at three apiece, the Reedsville softball team plated 15 runs in the eighth inning to pick up a 18-4 win over host St. Mary Central.
The Panthers (9-6, 6-6 Olympian Conference) were trailing by three in the top of the sixth when Kelsey Stadler hit a two-out, bases clearing single to tie the game.
Reedsville pushed across 15 runs in the eighth thanks, in part, to 12 walks. Riley Grimm had a single, a double, and four RBIs in the inning.
Stadler finished the game 2-for-4 with a double, two walks, and four RBIs.
Chloe Sebo picked up the win. She worked three innings and allowed one earned run on three hits, striking out five.
Roncalli 14, Valders 6
The Vikings jumped out to an early 2-0 lead after two innings and lead 6-5 after 5½ innings before the host Jets responded with seven in the home half of the fifth and never looked back.
Hannah Severin earned the win for Roncalli, lasting four innings while allowing four runs — three earned — on four hits.
Sam Blanke went 1-for-3 with three RBIs to pace the Jets offense and teammate Tallie Piaskowski (2-for-4) made her presence felt by driving in a pair and scoring three times.
For Valders, Brittany Erickson took the loss, pitching all six innings and allowing 14 runs — five earned.
The Vikings offense was led by Nicole Glaeser (1-for-4) who hit a 3-run home run in the fifth.
Chilton 7, Man. Lutheran 1
The host Lancers fell behind 4-0 after three innings and never recovered.
MacKayla Menges took the loss for Lutheran, allowing seven runs — three earned — with four strikeouts.
The Lancers were held to a pair of hits, with Rachel Gries going 1-for-2 and Kaitlin Radue (1-for-3) for the two hits.
