Omro quadrangular: It was another big night for St. Mary’s Springs, as the Ledger boys and girls each won while North Fond du Lac was fourth on both sides.
The Springs boys won 12 events. Individually, Ike Floyd won the 100-meters (11.67 seconds), Sam Spranger won the 400 (52.41), Andrew Skiff won the 800 (2:11.19), Alan Burkart won the 1,600 (4:53.76), Zach McLaughlin won the 110 hurdles (16.73), Andrew Riehl won the shot put (41-10) and Zach Hintze won the long jump (19-11) and triple jump (40-11.5). The Ledgers also won the 400, 800, 1,600, and 3,200 relays.
The Springs girls won 10 events, four of them coming from Melanie Schneider. She won the 200 (26.98), 400 (1:03.56), long jump (17-2.75) and triple jump (36-3.5). Her triple jump once again broke her school record, and her long jump was also a school record. Also individually, Bailey Hoch won the 100 (13.72), Liz Bohn won the 800 (2:32.97) and 1,600 (5:41.98), Morgan Krupp won the 3,200 (14:26.44) and Lizzy Lechtle won the discus (91-0).
NFDL’s Dakota Wesenberg won the shot put (31-4).
