CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Providence High School was gunning for their eighth consecutive victory Friday, and the Panthers had no problem picking up the W when they faced Harding University. The Panthers were in control early, taking a 27-0 lead into the locker room at halftime. Quarterback Caleb York guided Providence’s offense to an easy victory as Providence went on to win 54-6.

Providence will face South Mecklenburg next week before their annual battle with Charlotte Catholic on November 7.
