MINT HILL, N.C. — Rocky River High School’s men’s soccer team was able to secure their first victory of 2014 on Tuesday, defeating Forest Hills 5-2. This season has been a struggle to say the least for the Ravens, as they have been outscored 24-13 including the win against Forest Hills. Forest Hills has also found it tough sledding in 2014, currently sitting 0-6-1 overall. The Yellow Jackets have only manged six goals through those seven games. Tuesday’s loss to Rocky River was the first time Forest Hills has managed to score multiple goals in one game.

The schedule won’t get any easier for the Ravens, as they will travel to Garinger and play the Soutwestern Conference favorites on September 10. Forest Hills will have an opportunity for a win against Piedmont High School at home on September 10.
