CONCORD, N.C. — The Jay M. Robinson High School Lady Bulldogs volleyball team swept the Vance High School Cougars 3-0 on August 26. The Bulldogs got off to a hot start, winning the first set 25-10, before winning the next sets 25-19 and 25-17, respectively. The Lady Bulldogs improved to 2-1 on the season, while Vance dropped to 1-3 overall.
Kirsten Hunt led Robinson with 10 kills, while Tori McBee chipped in 19 assists. Vance’s A’Sonya Fuller had 10 digs, and Ahriana Edwards contributed with six kills for the Cougars.
