Junior Kahleen Green scored 19 points to lead the Toms River South boys basketball team past host Lacey 53-40 in Shore Conference Class A South on Friday night.

Senior Marquis Davis added 15 points for the Indians (8-3, 4-2). Junior Tymere Berry contributed 12 points and six assists.

Green scored 11 first-half points, including six in the second quarter, as the Indians sped to a 23-17 lead. Green buried eight of 12 shots from the field on the night.

Davis, who connected on five of 12 attempts from the floor, netted six fourth-quarter points in a 17-13 output. Berry handed out six assists. Senior Darius Hart added four points, 10 rebounds and five steals.

Junior center Chris Iappico paced the Lions (4-6, 3-4) with 15 points.

RB CATHOLIC 68, MANASQUAN 52: Paced by junior Brendan Madigan’s game-high 24 points and senior Quenton Nelson’s 15, the host Caseys (8-3, 6-1) topped the Warriors (8-2, 6-1) in Class A Central.

Sophomore forward Ryan Jensen led Manasquan with 19 points. Senior guard Tom Toole added 12.

LAKEWOOD 70, MANCHESTER 52: Senior forward Ben Watson had 18 points and senior guard Daniel Niblack had 17 points as the Piners (9-2, 6-0) defeated the Hawks (7-5, 2-4) in a Class B South game.

Manchester senior guard Darius Barlow had 14 points while sophomore guard Jordan Torney and senior guard KaShaun Barnes each had 11 points.

TR NORTH 56, BRICK 49: Junior forward Jordan Craig scored four of his game-high 21 points in overtime and helped the Mariners (6-6, 5-2) in their Class A South victory over the Green Dragons (0-12, 0-7).

Craig scored four of his team’s seven points in overtime and sophomore guard Pat Marinaccio added 18 points. The game was tied 49-49 after regulation.

Brick senior guard Brian Gallagher (10 points) made two of three free throws with one second left in regulation to send the game to overtime. Senior guard Richie Mitukiewicz had 13 points.

POINT BORO 56, MONSIGNOR DONOVAN 55: Sophomore forward Peyton Wejnert had a putback just before the buzzer as the Panthers (5-4, 4-2) defeated the Griffins (8-4, 4-2) in a Class B South game. Wejnert finished with 10 of his game-high 30 points in the fourth quarter.

Monsignor Donovan senior forward Tom Cerami had 15 points, seven reobunds and three blocks.

JACKSON MEMORIAL 55, BRICK MEMORIAL 48: Eric Carter had nine of his game-high 21 points in the second quarter and Jesse Hill added 18 points as the Jaguars (9-4, 5-1) defeated the Mustangs (6-4, 4-3) in a Class A South game.

Brick Memorial’s Aaron Schiederman made three 3-pointers and finished with a team-high 15 points while Scott White had 13 points.

LONG BRANCH 71, FREEHOLD TWP. 48: Senior guard Terrel Cox netted 18 points to lead the host Green Wave (9-2) past the Patriots (8-5) in non-divisional play.

Senior forward Hassan Foster and Cox powered the Green Wave to a 20-16 first-quarter lead with seven and five points, respectively. Cox put home six points as Long Branch went ahead 36-27 at halftime.

Long Branch senior guard Jamar Foster netted each of his 13 points in the second half, including 10 in the third quarter in which the Green Wave took a 55-37 lead with a 19-10 output.

Senior forward-guard Chris Talbott paced the Patriots with 17 points, including 14 in the first half, nine in the opening quarter.

FREEHOLD 49, WALL 45: Senior guard Donald Allen’s 13 points and freshman forward Elijah Barnes’ 12 led the host Colonials (2-9) past the Crimson Knights (5-6) in Class B North.

Barnes and Allen picked off seven and five rebounds, respectively, and Barnes blocked four shots. Allen added one assist and one steal.

Freehold sophomore guard Jake Curry scored six points, grabbed seven rebounds and made two steals. Senior guard Danny Parr added eight points, seven assists and five rebounds.

ST. ROSE 61, HENRY HUDSON 33: Led by Bobby Hendrikson’s 12 points and Nolan Slattery’s 11, the host Purple Roses (8-3, 5-1) bested the Admirals (5-5, 3-4) in Class B Central.

Senior guard-forward Jason Terrell and senior forward-center Jake Link led the Admirals with 10 points each.

KEYPORT 79, ASBURY PARK 58: Senior forward Alex Thomson’s 43 points propelled the visiting Red Raiders (8-2, 6-1) past the Blue Bishops (1-7, 1-5) in Class B Central.

Thomson erupted for 24 second-half points, including 15 in the third quarter. Sophomore guard Jeff Sheard added 16 points.

Sophomore center Mikal Fearon led the Blue Bishops with 19 points, including 11 in the first quarter. Junior guard Tyquis Davis added 17.

Girls Basketball

RUMSON-FH 44, HOLMDEL 38: Rumson head coach George Sourlis won his 600th career game in his 28th season as head coach for the Bulldogs.

Grace Stant finished with a game-high 15 points as the Bulldogs picked up a Class A Central win over the Hornets. Janae Mayfield also scored 8 of her 10 points in the second quarter for the Bulldogs.

Morgan Graziano finished with a team-high 14 points for the Hornets, and Mia Ehling added 8 more.

MANASQUAN 43, RB CATHOLIC 32: Freshman Stella Clark finished with a team-high 15 points leading the Warriors over the Caseys in a Class A Central game. Sam Sullivan also scored 8 of her 12 in the second half for the Warriors.

Grace Fallon finished with 8 points for the Caseys.

KEYPORT 37, ASBURY PARK 33: Erin Harrigan finished the game with a team-high 10 points leading the Red Raiders over the Bishops in a Class B Central game. Sherelle Hill also added 10 points and Rachel Trigg netted 8 for the Red Radiers.

Porschia Witherspoon finished with a game-high 13 points for the Bishops.

Boys swimming

WALL 96, FREEHOLD 74: The Crimson Knights (9-0, 5-0) clinched the Class B North title with a win over the Colonials.

Wall’s Ryan Boyle won the 200-yard (2:01.3) and 500 (5:15.6) freestyles. Shayne Maypother added wins in the 100 butterfly (58.2) and 200 individual medley (2:05.5).
