CHARLOTTE, N.C. — South Mecklenburg High School men’s soccer rebounded Monday, defeating Olympic High School 6-1. The Sabres proved a 3-1 loss at Charlotte Catholic has been put behind them with the victory. South Meck’s defense has been stingy in 2014, allowing just four goals in their last five games. Olympic fell to 4-7-4 overall, with their fourth loss in their last five contests.

Olympic will face Harding University High School on September 24. South Meck hosts first-place Providence High School on September 24.
