Clarkstown South girls basketball: The Vikings beat Suffern 61-44 to finish the regular season at 18-0.

Carly Fanelli, Briarcliff girls basketball: The freshman scored 24 points, including a game-tying 3-point basket and the go-ahead free throws in the final seconds of the Bears’ 52-51 win at Blind Brook.

Brandon Martin, Mount Vernon boys basketball: The senior scored 28 points in an 87-56 win over visiting Brooklyn Collegiate.

Kristen McLaughlin, Tappan Zee girls basketball: The senior scored a career-high 41 points in a 70-45 win at Byram Hills.

Willie Messinger, Putnam Valley wrestling: The junior, who was the fourth seed at 170 pounds, defeated top-seeded Peter Jones of Irvington and second-seeded Alex Slaybaugh of Nanuet on his way to the title. His victory helped the Tigers claim their first Division 2 team title.

Teejay Searight, Croton-Harmon boys basketball: The junior scored 20 points, including eight in the fourth quarter, to lead the Tigers to their 11th straight win, 59-50 over visiting Hen Hud.

Track and field: Class AA and Class C track and field championships at The Armory, 5 p.m. The New Rochelle girls will try to complete a second straight League 2-B/Westchester County/Class AA indoor triple crown. In the C meet, the Bronxville girls will go for the program’s 18th consecutive sectional title and the Bronxville boys will go for their program’s seventh straight title.
