Rai Benjamin, Mount Vernon boys track: Benjamin finished second in the 300 meters at the New Balance Games, running it on The Armory track in a personal-best 34.04 seconds, the fourth-fastest time in the nation this season.
Symone Darius, New Rochelle girls track: Darius ran her winning 300 at the New Balance Games in 38.07 seconds, the fastest time of any girl in the country this season.
Faith Lovett, Westlake girls basketball: Lovett scored 21 points on seven 3-points and earned tournament MVP honors as the Wildcats beat Cathedral 76-67 in the final of the Kathy Mayer Classic at Sacred Heart.
R.J. Martinez, Mahopac boys basketball: Martinez had 23 points, eight rebounds, four assists and four steals against his former team as the Indians beat visiting Carmel 68-51.
Carlos Montes, Riverside boys basketball: Montes had 27 points in the Rams’ 61-38 win against visiting Yonkers.
New Rochelle girls 800-meter relay team: Symone Darius, Ashley Wiggins, Victoria Jones-Alleyne and Alicia Donaldson lowered their nation-leading time in the event to 1:39.39 in winning at the New Balance Games.
Ciera Rivera, North Rockland girls basketball: Rivera had her highest-scoring game in varsity competition, scoring 24 in an 82-46 win over Nyack.
Ashley Wiggins, New Rochelle girls track: Wiggins won the 55-meter hurdles in a personal-best 8.03 seconds at the New Balance Games, the fourth-fastest time in the nation this season.
