The 2014 Somerset County Softball Tournament was seeded Monday evening during a meeting of coaches at Bridgewater-Raritan High School two-time defending champion Watchung Hills was selected as the No. 1 seed.
The tournament will begin Saturday with four first-round games, while the No. 5 through No. 8 seeds get started in the second round the following Saturday and the top four seeds start in the quarterfinals on May 3.
The semifinals are slated for May 7 and the final for Saturday night, May 10 at Nap Torpey Field.

15-Manville at 10-Ridge, winner at 7-Mount St. Mary, winner at 2-Hillsborough
14-North Plainfield at 11-Bound Brook, winner at 6-Immaculata, winner at 3-Somervillle
13-Franklin at 12-Pingry, winner at 5-Bridgewater-Raritan, winner at 4-Montgomery
