Port Clinton junior Emily Zibert punched her ticket to next week’s Division I state diving finals, finishing ninth on Wednesday in the district diving competition.
Zibert scored 328.75, three full points in front of 10th-place Trinity Voisin of Celina for the final qualifying spot. Oak Harbor’s Makenzie Pluto was 21st (132.10) while the Rockets’ Kara Branum was 23rd (124.20).
