1. Blackman (7-0)

It took Blackman a lot less time to get rolling Friday night than in a previous comeback win over Independence. The Blaze are clicking on all cylinders, especially offensively, behind UT commit Jauan Jennings at QB and Charlie Davidson at RB. Last week: Defeated La Vergne 42-17. Next: Bye.

Ensworth flexed its muscle on the ground Thursday behind Darius Morehead and showed resolve in OT in a 50-44 win over MBA. Last week: Defeated MBA 50-44 in OT. Next: Friday at Giles County.

CPA is on cruise control, evidenced by a blowout win over a solid Spring Hill squad. This week should be no problem before a big league matchup vs. Marshall County. Last week: Defeated Spring Hill 47-21. Next: Friday vs. Whites Creek.

7. Ravenwood (6-0)

In what many thought would be a closer game, Ravenwood controlled rival Centennial from the outset and the defense pitched a shutout. Last week: Defeated Centennial 24-0. Next: Friday at Dickson County.

8. MBA (5-2)

Behind QB Cole Euverard, the Big Red continued to prove they are one of the top offensive teams in the state, but the defense allowed 40 points or more for the third time this season in an OT loss to Ensworth. Last week: Lost to Ensworth 50-44 in OT. Next: Friday vs. Father Ryan.

9. Pearl-Cohn (6-1)
