The Eagles flexed their muscles and made a statement with a 59-24 win over previously unbeaten McCallie Friday night Another tough trip to Chattanooga looms. Last week: 6. Next: Friday at Baylor.
4. Ensworth (7-1)
Ensworth ventured out of DII and was impressive in a blowout victory over defending 4A runner-up Giles County Friday night.. Last week: 3. Next: Friday at Giles County.
5. Hillsboro (7-0)
Hillsboro is primed for a 10-0 regular season with three winnable games on the horizon. Last week: 5. Next: Friday at Franklin County.
6. CPA (8-0)
CPA cruised through a 41-0 victory over Whites Creek Friday, doing all its damange in just one half before the game was called because of weather. This week’s matchup will be for a district title. Last week: 7. Next: Friday at Marshall County.
7. Ravenwood (7-0)
Ravenwood followed up a huge shutout win over Centennial with a 34-0 triumph over Dickson Co. This week’s matchup will settle the 11-AAA title. Last week: 7. Next: Friday vs. Franklin.
8. MBA (6-2)
MBA battled the weather and bounced back for a 21-17 win over rival Father Ryan Friday. Last week: 8. Next: Bye.
9. Pearl-Cohn (6-1)
It took a bye week to slow down Pearl-Cohn’s potent offense last week. Friday’s battle vs. East Nashville should be one of the games of the year. Last week: 9. Next: Friday at East Nashville.
10. Riverdale (6-1)
