These five high school basketball players led their teams to victories by hitting a batch of three-pointers:

NICK OWENS

Clarkston: The 6-foot-1 senior guard, who has signed with Madonna, drilled eight of 10 three-point attempts on his way to a season-high 30 points in a 64-27 victory over Lake Orion.

GABBY SPANGLER

Jackson Christian: Her 31-point effort was highlighted by a school-record seven three-pointers. The 5-6 senior guard added five assists and 10 rebounds in a 68-37 win over Burr Oak.

TRE’VON AVERY

Grand Blanc: The 6-1 junior, who is a standout quarterback, hit five three-pointers in the first quarter and finished with seven in leading the Bobcats to their eighth consecutive victory, 84-62, over Howell.

JENAI LaPORTE

BAY CITY GLENN: Glenn hit 11 of 12 three-pointers, with this 5-7 sophomore guard netting seven in a 71-26 victory over Tawas.

SKEETER BALLAGH

Stockbridge: His school-record three-pointer total reached 78 for his career when the 6-1 senior hit a school-record seven treys and finished with 31 points in an 80-67 victory over Vandercook Lake.
