The Manitowoc Lincoln girls basketball team closed out its regular season with a 38-35 loss to Sheboygan North in a Fox River Classic Conference game Thursday night at the JFK Fieldhouse.

The Golden Raiders entered the game 21-0 and as the No. 2 team in Division 1.

The Ships nearly spoiled North’s perfect season. Lincoln kept things close throughout the contest and held a one-point lead after three quarters.

But the Golden Raiders were able to fend off the Ships down the stretch.

Hailee Kotche and Alyssa Fischer each scored 10 points for Manitowoc (9-13, 6-10).
