Sophomore Jack Bittker contributed 13 kills to lead Penfield to a three-set win over Fairport in Monroe County boys volleyball on Thursday.
Senior Dahnny Rogers added eight kills for Penfield (4-0), which won 25-21, 25-20, 25-17.
Sophomore Jack Burke chipped in 14 assists for the Patriots.
Junior Andrew Weber had five kills and three blocks for Fairport (3-1).
Rush-Henrietta 25-25-14-25, Canandaigua 23-23-25-22
Alec Minavio had six kills and six blocks and Kevin McCormick added seven kills and six blocks for R-H (1-4).
Johnny Polimeni had nine kills for the Braves.

Ben Delacruz had 13 kills and Stefan Mickol added 44 assists for Brighton (4-1). Justin Spiegel had nine kills for the Lakers (2-4).

Tae Ahn finished with 10 kills and 12 digs, while Kyle Gear recorded 10 kills and four blocks to propel Gates Chili (2-4).
Ricky Reyes had five kills for Hilton.

Brian Gloss had 11 kills and two blocks, and Kyle Duell chipped in 15 digs for Brockport (1-2).
Spencerport is 1-3.
Monroe 19-25-25-25, Charlotte 25-19-20-16
Jawaun Taylor had 16 service points and three kills and Michael Voelkl added 12 kills for Monroe (1-0).
McQuaid 25-25-25, Edison 5-4-5
Dane LeClair finished with six assists and Charlie Siragusa had three kills for McQuaid (1-0).
Edison is 0-1.
Geneseo 7, Caledonia-Mumford 0
Danny Cannon scored two goals to lead Geneseo.
Miguel Valencia added one goal and one assist for Geneseo (1-1).
Sam Johnson and Edward VanSon combined for the shutout.

Willie Meyers scored twice in a two-minute span late in the second half for Red Creek (4-0).
Noah Murray scored for NR-W (1-3).

Kirk Georgeintonis and Dustin Tomka each scored two goals for East Rochester (3-3).
Jonah Franciosa scored his first varsity goal for the Bombers.
Sodus is 1-4.
Wheatland-Chili 7, Pavilion 1
Nate Dawson and Brandon Barker each scored twice for the Wildcats (3-1).
Hayden Ewell scored for Pavilion (1-2).
Sale to benefit Officer Daryl Pierson’s family
East Rochester/Gananda’s football team will sell helmet decals and shirts during its game against Wayne, 7:15 p.m. Friday at East Rochester, to raise money for the family of fallen Rochester Police Department Officer Daryl Pierson.
Dennis Greco, the East Rochester/Gananda varsity coach, said that all proceeds are slated for donation, after Peter Bourne of Recognition Experts and Joel Cuminale of Turning Point Signs & Designs provided free supplies.
A three-sport athlete, Officer Pierson played football at East Rochester. Cheerleaders also plan to collect donations during the game. There are plans to continue the sales throughout the season.
Decals may be purchased for a dollar or in groups of 10 for $10, polo-style shirts are $25 each. There is a limited amount of shirts available at the game, but orders for both items can be taken by Sue Greco at 585-248-0184 or assistant coach David Walsh at 585-281-3899.
“We’ve already sold 1,500,” Dennis Greco said.
