Fort Myers High School will be a hotbed of boys hoops activity all day Saturday.

The second annual Southwest Florida vs. Florida challenge tips off at 11:40 a.m. Saturday with Island Coast facing Moore Haven.

The Green Wave play the prime time matchup at 8 p.m. against Stuart Martin County, with Bishop Verot facing Sarasota Riverview at 5:20 p.m.

The other matchups are Barron Collier vs. Haines City (1:20 p.m.), Charlotte vs. Lake Wales (3 p.m.), Port Charlotte vs. Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas (4:40 p.m.) and Community School of Naples vs. Sarasota Cardinal Mooney (9:40 p.m.)

Boys basketball

Southwest Florida Christian 58, Clewiston 49: Sophomore guard Aiden Crume scored all 21 of his points on 3-point baskets for the Kings (8-7), while junior Bryce Reed finished with 12.

LaBelle 57, Lake Placid 43: Alfredo Mar scored 11 points, and Michael Lopez, Eduardo Gonzalez and Mark Sloan each scored eight for the Cowboys (13-3).

Riverdale 68, Gulf Coast 67: The Raiders defeated the Sharks on Wednesday, with Toran Bridley scoring 28 points. Jacob Ellis scored 19 points, including five 3-pointers, and Austin Tindle scored 12 points and grabbed 16 rebounds.

Girls basketball

Dunbar 81, East 27: Kiara Desamours and Keri Jewett each eclipsed 1,000 points for their careers, with Jewett scoring 17 points for the Tigers. Respect Leaphart scored 17 points with nine rebounds and three blocked shots, while Dee Patterson finished with 15 points.

Estero 53, Southwest Florida Christian 27: Meg Simms scored 12 points, and Savannah Smith finished with 11 for the Wildcats.

Cape Coral 61, Mariner 30: Kiera Bateman scored eight points for the Tritons, while juniors Mariah Ortiz and Katie Adams each scored six.

Fort Myers 52, Barron Collier 48: Lauren Gillingham and Autumn Giles each scored 13 points in leading the Green Wave (18-4).

Girls soccer

Oasis 4, St. John Neumann 0: The Sharks defeated the Celtics. Hailey Metzger, Greer Burcky and Michel Peterson each played solid games.

Boys soccer

Riverdale 4, Dunbar 1: David Sanchez, Piero Sotomayor, Kevin Barrantes and Juan Garcia each scored goals for the Raiders.

Fort Myers 0, LaBelle 0: Green Wave (8-7-4) goalkeepers Kyle Baker and Will Sitterson each had four saves. LaBelle (15-2-3) goalie Jesus Karr had 12 saves.

Bishop Verot 3, North Port 0: Peter Routsis scored two goals, and Tyler Yergens scored one for the Vikings (12-0-2). Brandon Doyle had seven saves.
