Sal Barbetto, Clarkstown North boys basketball: Barbetto scored 16 points and hit the game-winning shot from half court at the buzzer in the Rams’ 45-42 win against visiting Suffern.

Kevin Degnan, Pearl River boys basketball: The Fairfield-bound senior forward had 22 points, seven rebounds and six blocks in a 60-37 win against visiting Tappan Zee.

Jalay Knowles, Ossining girls basketball: The junior became the 12th player in program history to score 1,000 points, recording 19 points and 10 rebounds in a 71-22 win over Harrison.

Kristen McLaughlin, Tappan Zee girls basketball: The senior scored a game-high 27 points for Tappan Zee in a 62-61 win over Pearl River. The Dutchies have not lost in 2014.

Isaiah Ward, Palisade Prep boys basketball: The senior guard had 23 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists in the Phoenix’s 86-47 win at Children’s Village.
