There was yet another sign that something is different with Titusville High football on Tuesday.
The Terriers were included in the Class 5A top 10, at No. 9. Palm Bay rose from ninth to seventh in the same poll. Cocoa remained third in Class 4A.
In Terriers head coach Wayne Lawrence’s second season, there have been several positive signs, beginning with a 19-0 shutout of Melbourne in the team’s preseason game. A 57-0 season-opening win over Cocoa Beach followed, and Titusville defeated perennial power Palm Bay, 25-20, on Oct. 3.
The Terriers are 4-1 overall and 2-0 in Class 5A, District 12. They will play a second pivotal district game Thursday at Merritt Island. It will the third district road game for Titusville.
