This is Tom Brady in high school at San Mateo’s Junipero Serra. Yes, he wore number 12 then, too. Evidently number 10 was just a Michigan phase — Facebook

Everyone knows Tom Brady as an NFL super star, a three-time Super Bowl champion and the husband of supermodel Gisele Bundchen. But Brady wants to remind you that he wasn’t always the suave face of such masculine products as Ugg boots and Buick (we kid, we kid).

On Thursday, Brady Facebook posted a senior photo from his time at Junipero Serra High in San Mateo, Calif. The strapping young lad was a three-sport star at Serra, playing on the football, basketball and baseball teams and earning major recruiting attention in both of the outdoor sports. He was even selected by the Expos in the 1995 MLB draft (18th round).

More importantly, look at that hair!

One more Brady high school fun fact: One of Serra’s primary rivals was Bellarmine College Prep in San Jose, which featured another future professional champion on its football and baseball teams at the same time: former Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Pat Burrell!

So Brady wins this round of Throwback Thursday tweets. Paging Pat Burrell. Got any Bellarmine photos for us, Pat?
