Four-star Class of 2016 guard Eron Gordon of Indianapolis didn’t make his scheduled visit to the University of Kentucky on Sunday because he had just returned home from vacation, his father said.
Eric Gordon Sr. said Eron, whose brothers Eric Jr. and Evan played at Indiana, returned from a family trip to the Bahamas late Sunday afternoon, so a visit to Lexington, which Eron had tweeted about last Tuesday, would have been impossible.
Eric Gordon Sr. said the family would follow up with UK about scheduling a new date.

Eron Gordon, who has recently visited Duke, Michigan and Louisville, does not have a UK scholarship offer but has said his interest in the Wildcats would be significant if he receives one.
Eron Gordon denied that he is a lock to follow in his brothers’ footsteps and play for IU, who offered him a scholarship as an eighth-grader.
Earlier this summer, Gordon announced he was transferring from North Central to Cathedral for his final two high school seasons.
