Fremont Ross’ Mariah Mathews won the 200 (27.14) dash and Cassie Woleslagel won the 300 hurdles (49.60) as the Little Giant girls won the Bowling Green Bobcat Invitational on Friday with 125 team points.

Jessica Schell was second in the discus, Faye Sloma in the 3,200, Amber Otermat in the pole vault, Elayna Ackerman was runner-up in the 100 hurdles and Jordan Robinson placed second in the 300 hurdles to Woleslagel.

Ross’ Jared Ballenger set meet records in the shot put (56-01) and discus (166-10) as the Little Giants took second behind Defiance in the boys standings.

Jeffrey Barnett broke another meet record for the Little Giants, winning the long jump with a leap of 21-04 ½. Barnett also won the 300 hurdles (41.10).

Louis Guardiola, Mike Muffler, Jalen Oman and Jaylen Spencer won the 4×400 relay (3:32). Guardiola added a second in the 800.
