Fisher Catholic boys won a four-team meet Thursday at Millersport. The Irish, who scored 80 points, was led by Brody Taylor’s win the 100 and long jump. Millersport was second with 71 points with Amanda-Clearcreek (third, 53.5 points) and Fairfield Christian (fourth, 47.5 points) rounding out the field.
Fisher Catholic senior Jacob Stoughton won the high jump and was second in the long jump. Aaron Wood won the 1,600 and 3,200 and David Wood was second in the 1,600. Jacob Burley was first in the discus, second in the shot put and second in the 110 hurdles.
The Knights were led by Jacob Thompson who finished second in the 3,200 and third in the 1,600 and Ben Tobin was second in the 800. Isaac Naayers won the 200 for Fairfield Christian and the 3,200 relay of Nate Howes, Luke Kumler, Tobin and Noah Davis placed first.
The Fairfield Christian girls won with 70 points, Fisher Catholic was second (68), the Lakers third (54) and the Aces fourth (46). The Knights got first-place finishes from McKenzie Johnson in the high jump and 100, Emily Turner in the 300 hurdles and Olivia Ross in the 3,200. The 3,200 relay of Hannah Kumler, Maddie Arledge, Ross and Iris Kellett also won.
Leah Palmer won the shot put and discus for the Irish and freshman Ashlyn Quaintance was second in the 100. Alayna Coakley was second in the shot put and third in the discus and Jessica Callahan was second in the 3,200.
