Wyatt Lohaus led West High with 23 points and five rebounds as the Trojans fell to Minneapolis DeLaSalle 60-54 in overtime at the Midwest Players Classic in LaCrosse, Wis.

West led 25-20 at halftime and the score was tied at 51-51 at the end of regulation before DeLaSalle outscored West 9-3 in the four-minute overtime.

David Dileo had 12 points and nine rebounds, Connor McCaffery had eight points and five assists, and Garrett Grimsman had five points for West.

* REGINA 59, NORTHEAST 51: Drew Cook scored 25 points and grabbed nine rebounds as Class 2A No. nine Regina improved to 13-0 with a road win at Goose Lake.

Nick Phillips led Regina with six assists and five steals in the win.

Girls basketball

* REGINA 67, NORTHEAST 60: Jenna Lehman had a career-high 28 points and pulled down five rebounds to lead Regina at Goose Lake.

Hannah Stein had 11 points and five rebounds, Katie Wick had six rebounds and Hannah Seaman had five assists for the Regals. Regina improved to 11-2 on the season and 10-2 in River Valley Conference play.

Wrestling

* WACO WARRIOR INVITATIONAL: Regina had two individual champions and two runner-up finishers en route to winning the team title with 156 points at the WACO Warrior Invitational on Saturday.

TJ Schott won the title at 106 pounds and Payton Maske won at 195 pounds to lead Regina while Adam Ries (138) and Justin Hunter (170) each added runner-up finishes for the Regals.

Mid-Prairie finished second in the team standings with 152 points and was led by Phiorm Peterschmidt’s first-place finish at 182 pounds.

Duncan McCain (106), Miguel Sanchez (160) and Levi Duwa (195) all added runner-up finishes for the Golden Hawks.

* BIG RED TOURNAMENT: City High finished seventh at the Mike Halupnick Big Red Tournament on Saturday in Centerville with 108 points.

Will Ortiz (15-5) won the individual title at 106 pounds and Seth Schwarting (15-4) finished first at 113 pounds to lead City High.

Ryan Maas (19-3) finished second at 220 pounds for City High while Derek Delaney finished fourth at 285.

Also placing for the Little Hawks were Harrison Whitlow (182) in fifth, Ethan Vermace (138) in sixth and Nic Jarvis (145) in seventh.

* ED HADENFELDT INVITATIONAL: Led by Lance Evan’s first-place finish at 220 pounds, Solon finished second at its own invitational Saturday.

Solon had eight individuals place in the top three as the Spartans finished tied with Washington with 177 points.

Louis Gnida (120), Graeson Dall (145), Trevor Nelson (152), Nick Bailey (170) and Danny Whitmore (182) all earned runner-up finishes for Solon while Logan Linderbaum (285) and Kade Streuhm (132) each finished third.

Max Turkal (195) added a fourth-place finish for Solon while Josh Bender (160) was fifth and Bailey Redlinger (113) and Cole Fritz (138) each finished sixth.

West Liberty had one champion as Tanner Mueller (18-11) finished first at 145 pounds as the Comets finished fifth with 117 points.

Dylan VanDusen (285) and Kohl Wheeler (126) had runner-up finishes for West Liberty while Elliot Henderson (120), Trevor Schneider (152) and Mason Tvrs (220) all finished fourth.

Sam Weaver (195) was fifth and Austin Newton (170) was sixth for West Liberty.

West Branch got individual championships from Tyler Donovan (26-1) at 152 pounds and Casey Pence (17-0) at 160 and finished sixth with 106 points.

Ryan Grosvenor (195), Justin Roth (170) and Carter Carew (126) all placed third for the Bears while Adam O’Neil (132) placed sixth.

Clear Creek Amana finished 10th with 34 points and was led by Ethan Taylor’s third-place finish at 220 pounds.

Connor Murphy (113) added a fourth-place finish for the Clippers, and Luke Wingert (106) placed sixth.

Casey Castillo (160) and Zach Kleopfer (152) each added fifth-place finishes for the Huskies.

Micah Kelsay (220) and Donovan Doyle (182) each earned runner up finishes for West while Chris Walters (126), John Milani (160), Jackson Voigt (170) and Aydan Wynos (285) all finished third for the Trojans.

Tanner Rohweder (113) and Mitch Yoerger (195) added fourth-place finishes while Jakeb Bakken (132) finished seventh.
