In a close contest the Manitowoc Lutheran boys basketball team led visiting Valders on Tuesday 25-22 at halftime before the Vikings bounced back in the third to hand the Lancers a 51-42 loss.

Valders outscored Lutheran 18-6 in the third before each scored 11 in the fourth as the Vikings held on.

Thomas Schwoerer and Jon Shimon each scored a team-high 12 points to lead Valders while teammate Forrest Fenlon was also in double figures with 10.

For Lutheran, Adam Schwede poured in a game-high 13 and Jared Muench added 12.

The Jets jumped out to an early 32-12 halftime lead and never looked back against the host Tigers.

Josh Erickson paced Roncalli with a game-high 18 points and three 3-pointers. The Jets defense did their part as well, holding Wrightstown to nine points or fewer in every quarter.

The host Panthers were able to hold of a late Tigers charge in the second half for the victory.

Reedsville led 36-20 at halftime which provided more than enough cushion despite being outscored by six after halftime.

Bryce Wenzel led the Panthers with a game-high 16 points and was joined in double figures by teammates Brock Gilsdorf (15), Cody Schamburek (12) and Zach Laabs (10).
