She is ranked in the top 40 nationally among prep competitors in 2014 in the 800, 1,600, 3,000 and 3,200 and concluded her prep track career with nine state titles.
Academic excellence: Feeny has maintained a 4.0 GPA.
Exemplary character: A long-time student of the piano, she has volunteered locally at the Ogden Nature Center and as a peer tutor for a special education student. She has also donated her time with the United Way and as a youth track coach.
“For the last two years, Sarah has been nothing short of dominant,” said Brett Andrus, head coach of Mountain View. “I have never seen her take a race off. She is never content to sit back and run with the pack until the last 100 meters and just out-kick people. She seems to always be trying to run her best and challenge herself.”
THE FUTURE: Feeny has signed with Utah.
