After a weekend off to bask in the glory of qualifying for the third state semifinal in school history, the Red Hook High School boys basketball team returned to practice on Monday.
Because it was the first day of practice for spring sports, Red Hook’s gymnasium was booked solid, so the Raiders practiced at nearby Rhinebeck.
Red Hook (17-5), the Section 9 Class A champion will face Section 5 champion East from Rochester in a state semifinal at 9 a.m. on Saturday. The winner of the game will face the winner of the other semifinal between Section 11 champion John Glenn from East Northport, Long Island and Section 2 champion Scotia-Glenville in the state final on Sunday afternoon.
