West, City end seasons at regional meet


The West High and City High boys and girls bowling teams competed at the Class 2A regional meet in Muscatine on Tuesday, but all four teams failed to advance to state.

Eric Vidhamali led the Trojans with a 435 series. For the Women of Troy, Katelyn Kelly finished as the leader with a 389 series. Clinton won with 3,374 pins in boys and Muscatine totaled 3,294 pins for the girls win.

The City boys were fourth with 2,930 pins, while the City girls were fourth with 2,363. Individual scores were not available.


Team scores – 1. Clinton 3,374; 2. West High 3,081; 3. Muscatine 3,075; 4. City High 2,930; 5. Burlington 2,375.
