An offensive outburst lifted the Two Rivers boys basketball team to a 84-49 win over Denmark in a WIAA Division 2 regional quarterfinal game Tuesday night in Two Rivers.

The fifth-seeded Raiders led the Vikings, a 12 seed, by 12 after one and pushed their edge to 18 by the half.

Ethan Willman had 21 points for Two Rivers, while Dexter Smith added 18 more.

“We came out aggressive. Dexter Smith scored 12 points in the second quarter and we didn’t stop,” TR head coach Randy Fredrikson said. “We played a great game. Dexter probably played his best game of the season.”

The Raiders were 9-of-18 from 3-point range.

Two Rivers (13-10) travels to fourth-seeded Wrightstown for a regional semifinal on Friday.

The Panthers trailed by one after the opening quarter, but held a five-point lead heading into the third.

The Zephyrs managed to knot the game at 27 apiece heading into the fourth quarter.

Bryce Wenzel had a game-high 29 points for Reedsville (12-12).
