Two Rivers received a No. 1 seed in Division 3 as the WIAA released the brackets for the girls basketball tournament on Sunday evening.
The tournament begins with regional quarterfinal play on March 4 and culminates with the state tournament on March 20-22 at the Resch Center in Green Bay.
Division 1
Manitowoc Lincoln (8-12) received a seven seed and will visit No. 2 Kimberly (21-0) in a regional semifinal on March 7.
Division 3
Top-seeded Two Rivers (17-3) received a first-round bye with the Raiders hosting the winner of a game between No. 9 Luxemburg-Casco (5-14) and host No. 8 Roncalli (8-12) on March 4.
Second-seeded Kiel (12-8) also has a bye until the regional semis. The Raiders await the winner of a matchup between No. 10 Sturgeon Bay (6-12) and host No. 7 Wrightstown (7-13).
Valders (8-12) earned the No. 6 seed and the right to host No. 11 New Holstein (5-14) in a regional quarterfinal. The winner of that game will travel to take on No. 3 Denmark (10-10) on March 7.
Division 4
Reedsville (18-2) earned the highest seed of the three area teams in Division 4, receiving the second seed and a bye into the regional semifinals. The Panthers will square off with the winner of No. 6 Mishicot (2-17) and No. 3 Brillion (14-6).
Reedsville swept both regular season meetings with the Indians and Lions while Mishicot has lost both Olympian Conference meetings with Brillion this season.
Also earning a home game is No. 4 Manitowoc Lutheran (12-7), which plays host to No. 5 Gibraltar (13-6).
