Sheboygan South is one of seven area girls soccer team that will host opening-round games in the WIAA Tournament, which begins with regional quarterfinals on Thursday, June 5.
Brackets were released on Friday. South, a No. 3 seed, hosts No. 6 Hartford at Horace Mann Soccer Complex at 6:30 p.m.
Sheboygan North, meanwhile, is a No. 7 seed and is at No. 2 Mequon Homestead in an opener.
Plymouth earned a No. 1 seed in Division 3, and Sheboygan Falls is a No. 3. Both will host openers.
In Division 4, Howards Grove and New Holstein each earned top seeds; the Tigers host Random Lake, while the Huskies got a bye.
Oostburg, Cedar Grove-Belgium and Ozaukee also earned home games for the opener.
Regionals conclude with semifinals on June 7 and finals on June 9 before sectionals the following week. The state tournament is June 19-21 at Uihlein Park in Milwaukee.
