A pair of home runs by Tayler Krause helped the top-seeded Mishicot softball team top visiting Gibraltar 9-2 in a WIAA Division 3 regional semifinal game on Tuesday.
Krause belted a 3-run home run in the first inning to put the Indians on the board. Teammate Kelly Junk followed suit with a 2-run blast of her own.
An inning later, Krause went right back to work blasting a 2-run shot.
Amber Pantzlaff went 3-for-4 with two doubles for Mishicot.
Lindsay Bries earned the win. She allowed no runs on five hits and struck out three.
The Indians take on the winner of Wednesday’s game between No. 6 Manitowoc Lutheran and No. 7 Brillion in a regional final on Thursday.

The visiting Ships saw their season come to an end with a loss to the fifth-seeded Lightning.
North faces Green Bay East on Thursday.
