The Silver Lake women’s basketball topped host Mount Mary University 78-60 on Tuesday night.
The Lakers found themselves down by as many as 10 during the opening half, but battle back to take a four-point lead at halftime.
“The second half the team played with much more enthusiasm,”Silver Lake head coach Mike Flentje said. “We played extremely well on defense, causing many turnovers which turned into easy layups to put the game away. I was very excited to see the effort on the court as well as the enthusiasm on the bench in that second half. This was a team victory.”
Raelyn Woock collected 21 points to go along with 14 rebounds for the Lakers.
Lyndsay Holschbach (15), Courtney Claevers (14), and Shanice Wilson (12) joined Woock in double figures.
