Former Two Rivers wrestling standout Ty Pelot took seventh at 132.25 pounds at the FILA junior greco competition on Thursday in Las Vegas and secured All-American status.
Manitowoc Lincoln’s Jose Acosta, meanwhile, finished fifth at 126 pounds in junior freestyle regional competition on Friday.
Both wrestlers were competing for the X-Factor Elite Wrestling Club which operates in Manitowoc.
