Watchung Hills 60, Nutley 17: Watchung Hills won nine straight to open Tuesday night’s match with Nutley.

Junior Stephen Tyls (152), junior Wilson Urgilez (160), junior Ben Gomes (170), senior Ernesto Anazco (195), senior Mike Schmidt (220) and senior Anthony Carbajal (285) had pins during the opening run. Senior Alex Pollera (126) and junior Alex Murray (138) also won by fall. Junior Mike Terpack had an 11-4 win at 182.

Belvidere 39, Manville 25: Sophomore 106-pounder and Somerset County Tournament finalist Brian Kuhlman and junior 126-pounder Milton Teixeira had falls for Manville in a Skyland Conference Valley Division match. Junior Kevin Murillo had a major at 120, freshman T.J. Caswell moved up from 138 to 145 to win 6-2 and sophomores Josh Vargas (220) and Bobby Demeter (113) won decisions. Manville is 8-2.

Summit 34, New Providence 24: Union County Tournament champ Tyler Gazaway won a 3-0 decision at 126 for New Providence, junior 120-pounder Carmine Boccellari won 1-0 at 120 and senior Joe Joe Cirrocca knocked off Colum Dougherty 7-3.

South Plainfield 53, Sayreville 6: Jeff Plungis (106), Scott Quiroga (170) and Luigi Girardi (195) scored pins for South Plainfield. Isaac Blagogee (138) and Anthony Porcaro (285) recorded victories for Sayreville.

A.L. Johnson 42, Metuchen 27: Joe Maloney (220) recorded the only pin on the night for Metuchen. Kevin Coleman (132), Nate Green (138), Mike Rehorn (170) and Gianni Pascucci (126) also tallied victories.

Middlesex 43, Carteret 27: Middlesex won five of the opening six bouts to begin their night. Jack Sweeney (220) and Edson Flores (285) recorded pins for the Blue Jays. Javier Gonzalez (145) recorded a pin for Carteret.

New Brunswick 45, North Brunswick 31: New Brunswick’s Enrique Cuervas (120) won a 3-1 decision over North Brunswick’s Isaiah McCargo to put the Zebras on the board after dropping the first two bouts of the night.

Metuchen 41, South River 36: Metuchen won four of the first five bouts on the night which put South River in a hole to begin the night. Chris Kwok (113), Gianni Pascucci (126), Joe Stern (152) and Mike Rehorn (170) recorded pins for Metuchen. Tyler Burgess (120), Quinn Ciesielski (138), Jared Smith (145), Shane Ciesielski (182) and Doug Ryan (195) recorded pins for South River.
