COACH OF THE YEAR

Jan Azar, Wesleyan (Norcross)
Azar has won 11 state titles in the past 14 years, but this season’s championship came as a bit of a surprise. Wesleyan beat previously unbeaten and nationally ranked Holy Innocents in the state final. Holy Innocents had beaten Wesleyan three times previously in the season, but Azar’s team overcame serious injury issues and came through when it counted.
