USA TODAY High School Sports is proud to announce the American Family Insurance ALL-USA Virginia Girls Basketball Team. Players were selected based on their athletic achievements from the 2014-15 season.

COACH OF THE YEAR

Darnell Dozier, Princess Anne (Virginia Beach)
Princess Anne has played in seven consecutive Virginia High School League state championship games and has won six state titles since 2002, including the Group 5A crown each of the past two seasons. The Cavaliers rallied from a 16-point halftime deficit to defeat L.C. Bird for the title this season. Dozier also won his 500th career game this season, his 20th at the school.

FIRST TEAM

Player of the Year
Taja Cole, G, L.C. Bird (Chesterfield), 5-7, Sr.
Cole averaged 19.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 3.3 steals while helping the Skyhawks to a 22-7 record and an appearance in the Group 5A state championship game, the first in school history. Cole was named a McDonald’s All-American, a Naismith All-American honorable mention, Virginia’s Gatorade Player of the Year and is ranked among the top players in the class of 2015 by ESPN. She has signed with Louisville.
