Ed Haskins, Garfield (Seattle)
Hired in 2008 to lead Garfield back to winning championships, Haskins has delivered each of the last two years. Garfield, which won the Class 4A title a year ago, moved down a class and knocked off three-time defending champion Rainier Beach for the Class 3A title, the school’s 13th overall. A relatively young but talented team finished 27-2.

He averaged 24.2 points, 13.6 rebounds and 4.7 assists a game and scored a school-record 52 points with 20 rebounds in a win over Franklin.
