The 2014-15 American Family Insurance ALL-USA Girls Hockey team was selected by David Darby of the Detroit Free Press with assistance from state hockey coaches associations and the U.S. Under-18 National Team Development Program in Ann Arbor, Mich.

FIRST TEAM

Taylor Williamson
School: Edina (Minn.)
Position: Forward
Height: 5-7
Year: Senior
Shoots: Left

Was named Minnesota’s Miss Hockey after scoring 40 goals and 20 assists in 27 games, including 10 goals in six playoff games. Led Edina in scoring all four years of high school. Plans to attend Minnesota.

Samantha Davis
School: Tabor Academy (Marion, Mass.)
Position: Forward
Height: 5-5
Year: Senior
Shoots: Left

Scored 33 goals and 29 assists in 23 games this season and totaled 140 points in 90 career high school games. Also scored two goals and one assist in five games for the U.S. team at the World Championship. Captain of the field hockey, ice hockey and softball teams at Tabor. Hometown is Pembroke, Mass. Plans to attend Boston University.

Rebecca Gilmore
School: Noble & Greenough (Dedham, Mass.)
Position: Forward

Year: Sophomore

Scored 24 goals and 32 assists in 28 games. Also scored two goals and seven assists in five games for the U.S. team at the World Championship. Hometown is Wayland, Mass.

Grace Bizal

Scored 25 goals and nine assists in 22 games. Also scored one goal in five games for the U.S. team at the World Championship. Strong skater who isn’t afraid to join the rush on offense. Hometown is Minnetonka, Minn. Plans to attend Boston College.

Caitrin Lonergan

Was named MVP of the Independent School League after scoring 15 goals and 43 assists in 28 games while also splitting time at forward. Also scored four assists in five games for the U.S. team at the World Championship. Hometown is Roslindale, Mass. Plans to attend Harvard.

Brittany Bugalski
School: Loomis Chaffee (Windsor, Conn.)
Position: Goaltender

Went 13-6-3 with eight shutouts and a 1.14 goals-against average this season and did not allow a goal in two games for the U.S. 18 Team at the World Championship. Also plays field hockey, softball and track. Hometown is Lake Worth, Fla. Plans to attend Northeastern.

Makenna Newkirk

Was named New England Prep Division 1 player of the year after scoring 31 goals and 20 assists in 28 games. Totaled 118 points over three seasons. Hometown is Scottsdale, Ariz. Plans to attend Boston College.

Nicole Unsworth
School: University School of Milwaukee
Position: Forward
Height: 5-6
Year: Sophomore

Scored 70 goals and 37 assists in 29 games as team went 27-2 and won the state title. Has scored the most points in Wisconsin high school hockey each of the last two seasons – boys or girls. Attends Nicolet High School. Hometown is River Hills, Wis.

Alex Woken
School: Shattuck-St. Mary’s (Faribault, Minn.)
Position: Forward

Year: Junior

Scored 27 goals and 25 assists in 54 games. Also scored two goals and two assists in five games for the U.S. team at the World Championship. Hometown is Fargo, N.D. Plans to attend Minnesota.

Cayla Barnes

Youngest member of U.S. team at the World Championship, scored 16 goals and 24 assists in 25 games this season. Strong passer has great defensive instincts. Hometown is Corona, Calif. Plans to attend Boston College.

Mekenzie Steffen
School: Hill-Murray (Maplewood, Minn.)

Scored 14 goals and 14 assists in 26 games this season and was member of U.S. team at the World Championship. Offense-minded defenseman is good skater and good with the puck. Hometown is White Bear Township, Minn. Plans to attend Wisconsin.

Kerri St. Denis
School: St. Paul’s (Concord, N.H.)

Allowed 17 goals in 950 minutes played, compiling a .962 save percentage this season. Had a combined .945 save percentage over four years of high school. Hometown is Auburn, Maine.  Plans to attend Mercyhurst.
